Areacreativa42 is a partner of the first edition of the international RE-USE project.

The main goal of the project is to promote the artistic creation of young talents to help them develop their career in full respect of their talent and ambitions. The project is promoted by a consortium of partners from the Czech Republic (Sculpture Line), Italy (Areacreativa42), and Slovakia (Jan Koniarek Gallery in Trnava).

The topics

Innovative approaches in the context of sustainability (to encourage behavioral change in the recycling and reuse of local materials)
Young talents, professionals and experts (to support young talents)
New quality of urban open space (to bring a contemporary visual language into public space and strengthen awareness of the consequences of climate change in every place)

The activities

Each of the promoting partners will select a group of young talents to participate in a hackathon in April in the Czech Republic, during which they will collaborate on the creation of an installation project related to sustainability issues with a multidisciplinary and international team.
The selected projects will then be produced and installed in three locations in Venice (Italy), Ústí nad Orlicí (Czech Republic) and Kopavogur (Iceland).
