26 May – 9 October 2012
curated by BEATRICE BUSCAROLI
The exhibition VIVERE PARALLELO was born by the desire of the City of Bondeno (FE) to promote the emergent artistic scene linked to the public and historic places.
During this project there was the very important contribution of Beatrice Buscaroli (curator of Italian Pavillion at 53 Biennial of Venice, Artistic Director of the Collection of Bologna Bank and member of MAXXI in Rome and MAGA of Gallarate), in the exhibition of Aareacreativa42, Casa Toesca, and Dario Lasagni, expert of contemporary photography and curator of important monographies of italian artists.
From the vortex of a black background dull, opaque, which can respond or not, come signs, lines, junctions that arise on the surface as questions, but absolutely with no response.
Even if is the flat sheet of an engraver, or the abstract of a mathematical calculation, or the look of an old sailor who questions the sky, waiting for the direction of the route, the constellations of Negri seem to go up by a layer of complex memories and cultures , uncertain and generous , where the artist indicates a direction, so quiet and respectful.
And gleam, still, graffiti sure handwritings inconclusive between time and history. It’s fascinating is the grace, the privacy, the measure rational and risolutively. From the black wires coming out geographies and soul of the sky, which offer a track and enforce.
This makes Riccardo Negri queries the greatest mystery of man, the sky, and it comes out as if he had known , maybe walking alongside the river. Silently, with the respect of the beholder something that is bigger than him, with the expectation of a response that accomplished, it will not, and he knows it, so its signs are so gentle and kind. As an ancient man, educated as an artist. From the nature and the history, the respect, the patience .

Riccardo Negri was born in Mantua in 1985.
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna , his work starts from the “sign” and it is this that sets it apart ; Meanwhile, as “evidence” of a direct creative act , that the hand is imprinted on the support, then as phantas the radical vision of the artist. Moreover, the role of drawing in art has always been to respond to a need for camouflage. Here the method and the artistic object coincide, since the forms are defined by the technique and the hand that forged. In other words, the style is the ultimate meaning of the work, its purpose and its raison d’etre.
