Si è conclusa domenica l’ultima residenza del Si è conclusa domenica l’ultima residenza del primo ciclo di Resident Photo(grapher) ☄️ Durante la sua residenza, Nicolò Ferrario ha effettuato una ricerca all'interno dell'archivio storico, concentrandosi sui personaggi di origine rivarolese che hanno portato il nome di Rivarolo al di fuori del contesto cittadino. Il focus si pone così sul concetto di "educazione", sul significato di educare, di trasmettere dei valori all’individuo. Partendo da questo impianto teorico, attraverso la ricerca Nicolò ritrova cinque personaggi nati a Rivarolo: Luigi Palma di Cesnola, Alerino Palma di Cesnola, Maria Verna, Farina e Mariano. I cinque sono vissuti più o meno nello stesso periodo, separati al massimo da un arco di cent'anni. Dal punto di vista pratico Nicolò si immagina, servendosi della tecnica della "Appropriation art", una sovrapposizione di foto d'archivio, come se la forza di quelle azioni compiute potesse tornare con altrettanta intensità attraverso le immagini.
